"I believe everyone who holds political office should from now on - in accordance with the new Constitution - take on political responsibility too," Amiryan explained. "As part of Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan's team, I must assume political responsibility." An Armenian Radio and TV host and former Executive Director of Public Radio of Armenia, Amiryan was named in early October, 2016 to replace Hasmik Poghosyan as the Minister of Culture. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
