OSCE Sec. Gen.: Kocharian-Aliyev meeting likely by yearend

PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs will spare no effort for promoting the Karabakh peaceful process, OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut said.

He reminded of his July meeting with the Armenian Foreign Minister. A meeting with the Azeri FM was expected in August but did not take place.

The mediators will also consider possibilities for organization of a presidential meeting by the end of the year, the OSCE Sec. Gen. said.

The OSCE closely watches the situation at the front line, he said.

Monitoring is essential for building trust and alleviation of tension between the sides, he added, Trend reports.
