Hollywood stars and the royal couple Prince William and his Duchess Kate Middleton glittered the red carpet to help celebrate the best in movies, AceShowbiz said. "La La Land" won big, collecting at least five nods including the coveted Best Film. It also earned Emma Stone a Best Actress trophy and Damien Chazelle a Best Director prize. The songs in the film were additionally named Best Original Music. Casey Affleck grabbed Best Actor for "Manchester by the Sea", Dev Patel took home Best Supporting Actor for "Lion", Viola Davis won Best Supporting Actress for "Fences", and Tom Holland received Rising Star Award. Critic darlings like "Arrival" and "Hacksaw Ridge" also managed to grab one prize each. Other winners include "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and "Florence Foster Jenkins".
