Economy ministry pledges to achieve at least 3,2% GDP growth in 2017

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's economy will see a 3,2% growth in 2017, minister of economic development and investments Suren Karayan said Monday, February 14.

"We'll achieve at least 3,2% GDP growth, stipulated in the budget," Karayan told reporters.

Also, the minister called for optimism, pledging to reach the development level previously set by the government.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said in late October that the government intends to register a 3.2% GDP growth for 2017, adding that "Armenia's economy has been accompanied with turmoil from the outside world in the last two years."
