Ex-president to head opposition alliance in Armenia parliamentary vote![]() February 16, 2017 - 16:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosyan will head the proportional list of Armenian National Congress (ANC)-People's Party of Armenia alliance. Following Ter-Petrosyan are Stepan Demirchyan, Levon Zurabyan, Zoya Tadevosyan, Aram Manukyan, Gagik Jhangiryan, Vahagn Khachatryan, Lida Melikyan, Davit Matevosyan, Stepan Minasyan, said Zurabyan, who is the ANC parliamentary group leader. In a conversation with reporters, Zurabyan unveiled the first 22 names on the list, which included Myasnik Malkhasyan, Vladimir Karapetyan and Arman Musinyan. The list is comprised of a total of 133 candidates, Zurabyan noted. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
