55 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan registered overnight![]() March 6, 2017 - 10:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - More than 55 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered on the contact line with Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) on March 5 and the night through March 6. Azeri forces, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire some 1000 shots. Violations were intense in the northeastern section of the contact line, where Azeri units employed a 60-mm mortar and a grenade launcher. The Karabakh Defense Army forces continue controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions. The Artsakh army on March 4 downed an Orbiter drone, belonging to Azerbaijani forces, army spokesman Senor Hasratyan said in a Facebook post. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
