OSCE conducts planned monitoring of Artsakh contact lineMarch 15, 2017 - 14:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Mission on Wednesday, March 15 conducted a planned monitoring of the line of contact between Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) and Azerbaijan, in the direction of the Martakert region, to the northwest of Talish settlement. From the Artsakh Defense Army positions, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) Ghenadie Petrica (Moldova) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as staff member of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO Peter Svedberg (Sweden). From the opposite side of the line of contact, the monitoring was conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, his Field Assistant Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) and Personal Assistant Simon Tiller (Great Britain). The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule, with no ceasefire violations registered. From the Artsakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of foreign and defense ministries. The OSCE Mission regularly conducts monitorings on the contact line.
