Next session of CSTO FMs to be held in Yerevan in 2008October 5, 2007 - 15:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The session of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization took place in Dushanbe October 2, the RA MFA press office said. The Armenian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanian. The participants focused on implementation of acts and decisions in the CSTO member states, guidelines, measures for prevention of illegal migration, perfection of the organization's structures and foreign policy coordination mechanisms. The delegation heads approved the documents referring to normative and organizational mechanisms of CSTO peacekeeping activity, improvement of the legal basis for military and economic cooperation and the draft protocol on military and technical assistance in case of aggression against a CSTO member state. The head of the Armenian delegation touched upon the military and political situation in the region and stressed the necessity of deepening cooperation between the CSTO member states in international organizations. The next session of CSTO FMs will be held in Yerevan in 2008. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
