"The Good Wife" spin-off "The Good Fight" renewed for season 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Good Fight" has got an early vote of confidence from CBS All Access to return for another season. Roughly a month after its premiere, the "The Good Wife" spin-off starring Christine Baranski as Diane Lockhart is officially renewed for season 2, AceShowbiz said.

"We're only a few episodes into the first season and the reaction from CBS All Access subscribers and critics alike has been phenomenal," says Marc DeBevoise, President and Chief Operating Officer of CBS Interactive. "This series and its characters are just beginning and we can't wait to see where Robert and Michelle King, their creative team and the amazing cast take 'The Good Fight' next."

The show is set a year after the finale of the original show. An enormous financial scam destroys the reputation of young lawyer Maia (Rose Leslie) and wipes out the savings of her mentor Diane. The two are forced out of Lockhart & Lee and join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms.
