PanARMENIAN.Net - If the U.S. adopts the Armenian Genocide resolution, European states will attend to the issue, Co-chair of the Armenian-Russian commission for interparliamentary cooperation, member of the Federation Council, Nikolay Ryzhkov told a news conference in Yerevan.



He described the passage of the Armenian Genocide resolution in the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee as a positive fact. However, he voiced doubt whether the resolution will pass in the full House.



When the Russian State Duma approved the decree on the Armenian Genocide, Ryzhkov was among the deputies who supported the measure, IA Regnum reports.
