Russia ships BTR-82A armored personnel carriers to Azerbaijan![]() April 27, 2017 - 10:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A new batch of ammunition and modern multi-purpose military equipment, including armored personnel carriers were delivered to Azerbaijan from Russia. According to video footage posted online, BTR-82A APCs were shipped to Azerbaijan under an agreement on military-technical cooperation between the two countries. Alongside the ammunition, Russia will also provide trainings for the personnel operating the equipment. In 2007-2008, Azerbaijan received 24 units of BTR-80A carriers from Russia. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
