Raiola strangled BVB in Manchester United's Mkhitaryan deal: reportMay 10, 2017 - 14:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Agent Mino Raiola would have made money off Borussia Dortmund whether they sold Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester United or not, Tribal Football reports. The new book, Football Leaks: the Dirty Business of Football, leaked documents yesterday detailing business done with Raiola's clients Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan, and Manchester United. One of the most shocking was the contract negotiated between Raiola and Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. The Football Leaks documents reveal that an amendment was made to Raiola's contract with Dortmund in 2014. The change showed that Raiola was entitled to a cut of any future transfer fee for Mkhitaryan, as well as a payout if a bid was rejected for the Armenian. When United went in for Mkhitaryan in the summer, Dortmund were put in a squeeze, and they subsequently sold the midfielder for £26.3m. If Dortmund had refused, they would have still been liable to pay Raiola a fee. Mkhitaryanplays as a midfielder for the United, as well as captains the Armenia national team.
