EU «THREE» POLITICAL LEADERSHIP TO VISIT ARMENIA IN NEAR FUTURE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Expanding the political dialogue between Armenia and the European Union via wider inclusion of the EU into the South Caucasian region and creation of new mechanisms of political consultations became one of the key issues at the sitting of the Council of EU-Armenia cooperation in Brussels. According to the information provided by the Armenian foreign ministry press service, the coming visit of the political leaders of EU "three" will be devoted to that aim. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian headed the Armenian delegation at the Council meeting, minister on European affairs of Denmark presiding in EU Bertel Haarder headed the European one. The parties noted the importance of cooperation between the South Caucasian countries within the framework of TRASECA, INOGATE programs, regional center for preservation of nature, as well as in the sphere of information technologies. In this regard satisfaction was expressed due to the coming opening of a regional educational center for information technologies in Yerevan October 4.
