  EU hopes Kosovo independence won't destabilize BalkansNovember 19, 2007 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "I am hopeful that proclamation of Kosovo independence will not destabilize the Balkans," EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby said in an interview with PanARMENIAN.Net "The European Union supposes that Kosovo is a unique phenomenon. This refers to all unsettled conflicts, by the way. Each conflict has its history and specific character and each should be handed an appropriate solution in accord with norms of international law. The Kosovo resolution should not influence on settlement of other conflicts but it will certainly originate hopes and apprehensions," he said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
