Sarkozy, Aliyev discuss Karabakh peaceful processNovember 21, 2007 - 12:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On Tuesday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy discussed the ways of peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. French Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Bernard Fassier also attended the meeting. The Presidents talked over the developments within the Prague process and prospects of the Karabakh conflict settlement. They also referred to a wide scope of issues, specifically development of bilateral relations, energy security and situation in the region, Azeri media reports. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
