Armenia NA approves govt. program despite objection from oppositionJune 22, 2017 - 12:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Assembly on Thursday, June 22 approved the government program of Armenia's sustainable development for 2017-2022, despite resistance from opposition groups. With a vote of 64:31, no abstentions, the Republican Party (RPA) and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation - Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) voted in favor of the measure. The two opposition blocs represented in the parliament - Yelk and Tsarukyan - voted against the program. The government on Monday approved its own program, which consists of four sections: public administration and legal system, foreign and defense policy, economic progress, and social sector.
