Islamic State confirms leader Baghdadi killed

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Islamic State group has confirmed the death of group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Daily Star reports.

Al Sumaria TV channel has reported a source confirming the death within the Iraqi province of Nineveh.

Al-Baghdadi's death will come as a damaging blow to ISIS, who are said to have released a statement.

Daily Star Online previously reported how a preacher was killed after being set on fire because he spilled news of al-Baghdadi's killing.

It also comes after ISIS poster girl Sally Jones vowed to stay in Syria and fight with the death cult.

The jihadi is one of the the most wanted women in the world.

ISIS has reportedly released details of its new leader.

Various reports have previously said the jidahi boss was dead, however this appears to be the first time ISIS has confirmed the news.

It was previously reported how an Iranian military source said the target had been killed, after Russia also made the announcement following an airstrike.
