Truck driver jailed in Russia extradited to Armenia![]() July 21, 2017 - 11:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hrachya Harutyunyan, an Armenian citizen sentenced in Russia for causing a deadly road crash in Podolsk, was extradited to Armenia on Thursday, July 20, Armenia's justice ministry said. Under the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, Harutyunyan will serve his remaining sentence in Armenia. 18 people died after his truck ran into a passenger bus in an outlying area of Moscow. The accident occurred when the truck plowed into the side of the bus near the Oznobishino settlement. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
