Yerevan: No clarity over Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents' meeting![]() July 27, 2017 - 16:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said on Thursday, July 27 that no final agreement has been reached concerning a possible summit of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents, Panorama.am reports. After a cabinet session, Kocharyan told reporters that the foreign ministers of the two countries are currently working on the proposal made by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs at a recent meeting. Weighing in on Azerbaijan's claims of purported attacks by the Armenian side, the deputy foreign minister refuted the allegations, adding that Baku's steps hinder the progress in negotiations. At a Brussels-hosted meeting on July 11, the co-chairs proposed to organize a meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in New York to discuss the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
