Winner of Armenia’s Sevan Startup Summit 2017 revealedAugust 1, 2017 - 13:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A small town in Armenia’s Gegharkunik province hosted Sevan Startup Summit 2017 whose closing ceremony was held on July 30. The event’s general partner Ameriabank awarded the Big Battle top prize to ANIX, a startup which had come up with a business plan to improve customer service quality. More than 1000 participants and guests attended and took part in the summit, including 100 startups and teams of developers, mentors, lecturers, successful business people and journalists. Seven contests were held in the three days of the competition, with 18 startups winning various awards. Besides monetary prizes, several participants received consulting services and training invitations.
During the summit, lectures were offered in a campfire talk format with Tigran Hovhannisyan, Head of Payment Cards Service Unit at Ameriabank explaining how companies can organize e-commerce. The seven-day summit enabled the participants to make friends and establish business relations, enhance their knowledge and have a nice time by Lake Sevan.
