Ryan Reynolds on the possibility of 'Deadpool' / 'Avengers' crossoverAugust 21, 2017 - 14:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ryan Reynolds really wants an R-rated "Deadpool" / "Avengers" crossover, AceShowbiz says. The Merc with a Mouth, together with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes continue to be separated on the big screen despite both being Marvel characters. While Deadpool and all the other mutants belong to 20th Century Fox, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the rest of their superhero team are in the MCU overseen by Marvel Studios. And in a new interview with Total Film, Reynolds has shared his thoughts on the possibility of his own superhero character interacting with Marvel Studios' elite superhero squad. Speaking about the idea of bringing Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool and the Avengers to the big screen in a crossover movie, the Canadian actor says, "That sounds like a great idea but a very expensive idea." Of the kind of banter that they would have, Reynolds wonders, "Can you imagine the s**t-talking contest with Iron Man? Oh, that would be great." The actor goes on saying, "But it would have to be rated R to completely unharness everybody. Unbridle the merriment and watch them go..." Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth is back in action in "Deadpool 2" which is set for a June 1, 2018 release in the United States. It's currently in production in Vancouver, with David Leitch "(Atomic Blonde") directing from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic are also returning. Additionally, Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz join the cast to play Cable and Domino respectively. Meanwhile, the next "Avengers" film is "Avengers: Infinity War". It's scheduled to be released earlier, on May 4 to be exact. Directed by the Russo brothers, the superhero team-up movie stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Peter Dinklage and many more. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
