UN to discuss conflict in Karabakh or in “Azerbaijan’s occupied territories”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 72nd session of the UN General Assembly will address the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, with the document listed to be considered titled “The situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.”

The Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign minister will most probably meet the the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the sidelines of the session.

More than 220 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani forces were registered on the contact line with Karabakh (Artsakh) over the week of August 13 and 19.

Azeri troops, in particular, fired some 3300 shots towards the Armenian positions.
