Karabakh, Abkhazia foreign ministers agree to expand cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan on Monday, August 28 met his Abkhazian counterpart Daur Kove who has arrived in Stepanakert on an official visit.

Mirzoyan welcomed the guest and expressed confidence that Kove’s visit will give a new impetus to the friendly relations between Artsakh and Abkhazia. In this context, the Artsakh minister highlighted the importance of maintaining regular political consultations.

During the meeting, the sides discussed steps to be taken for the development of cooperation between the two foreign ministries, as well as exchanged views on various issues on the bilateral agenda, international and regional questions.

Mirzoyan briefed the guest on the current stage of the settlement process of the Karabakh conflict and efforts made by Artsakh aimed at achieving progress in the negotiations.
