Henrikh Mkhitaryan urges quality inclusive education in Armenia (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian football player, midfielder at Manchester United who was recently named Armenia’s ambassador to UNICEF, is calling in a fresh video for quality inclusive education in the country.

“Today I had a briefing from children who shared their story with me. We discussed many issues.

“The majority of the society thinks that children with disabilities should be placed in special schools.

“Every child has a right to quality education alongside their peers, regardless of their abilities.

“And everyone has a role in turning this situation around.”

“I call upon our society -- parents, children, and our teachers -- to welcome children with disabilities this September back in their classrooms, schools communities.

“For every child, quality inclusive education.”
