Armenian defense officials to depart for China

PanARMENIAN.Net - A defense ministry delegation led by minister Vigen Sargsyan will depart for Beijing on Monday, September 4.

During the official visit, meetings with Chinese defense minister Chang Wanquan and other top military officials is scheduled to take place, Armenian defense ministry said in a statement.

Armenian and Chinese defense ministries signed the cooperation program for 2017 in April.

A China defense ministry delegation, headed by Deputy Admiral Guan Yufei, visited Armenia on April 11-14 to meet with the chief of general staff Movses Hakobyan, deputy defense minister Davit Pakhchanyan and chief of defense policy board Levon Ayvazyan.
