According to some documents posted by the national statistical service, 20,149 optical-mechanical devices were manufactured in the reporting period against the 3,388 produced in the first six months of 2016. 2,036 devices were built in July alone. The official statistics, however, gives no details concerning the exact type or number of instruments built.
