Legendary Armenian Zorah Wines launching in Norway![]() September 7, 2017 - 13:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Zorah Wines is launching in Norway on Thursday, September 7, a company representative said in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net The wines will be available at selected Vinmonopolet shops in Norway, set to be presented in high-end restaurants in the near future. In Norway, wine is only sold to the public through government-controlled monopoly shops commonly known as Vinmonopolet. It takes months of preparation and tough selection to be accepted in these venues. "Before actually being able to launch in Norway, we held special presentation events with sommeliers, journalists and representatives of Vinmonopolet back in early June when company founder Zorik Gharibian with Norwegian importer Garage d'Or presented ZORAH and Armenia at seminars and tastings at the Grand cafe, as well as at winemaker dinners in Oslo," the company representative said. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
