Armenia first to obtain Russian Sukhoi SuperJet-100

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will be the first state to exploit Russian Sukhoi SuperJet-100, Russia's Transport Minister Igor Levitin said.



Armavia national carrier will purchase jets in 2008 in compliance with a $50-million contact was sealed last September.



Sukhoi Superjet-100 is one of Russia's major projects in civil aviation building. Initially, the jets were supposed to be sold abroad, Lenta.ru reports.
