Serzh Sargsyan calls for cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian opposition took up the call for cooperation, RA Prime Minister and President-elect Serzh Sargsyan told the parliament.

"I propose cooperation up to formation of a coalition government. We have already received signals from some opposition forces and will proceed with our work," he said.

The PM also noted that the cases of confiscation of illegal weapons have increased in Armenia recently. "I do not see difference between an ordinary citizen and a political figure. Illegal weapons are confiscated no matter whether they belong to a political worker, parliamentarian or Yerkrapah member," he said.

Asked about violence against MPs supporting the opposition, the Prime Minister said, "I possess no information about this but in case it's confirmed, the law enforcement will have to furnish explanations," Novosti Armenia reports.
