ARMENIA CAN EXPORT ELECTRIC POWER TO AZERBAIJAN AND TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia can export electric power to Azerbaijan and Turkey. Rector of Slavonic University, ex-Premier of Armenia Armen Darbinian stated it in the course of the meeting of representatives of Armenian and Russian business circles being held within the framework of the sitting of the Council of International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Yerevan. In his words, "today power engineering specialists of Russia recognize that Armenia is the only country in the region possessing a potential for exporting electric energy." "We have an opportunity to export 400 MW of electric power to Turkey," - A.Darbinian said. In his words, 300 MW of electric energy can also be sold to Azerbaijan "if a pragmatic approach is adopted."
