Armenia, Russia sign agreement on uranium production joint venture

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Atomredmetzoloto Holding signed an agreement on formation of a joint Armenian-Russian venture on geological prospecting and uranium production.



The company will be founded on parity share and will be registered within three months.



The agreement comes as the first stage of memorandum signed by Rosatom and the RA Ministry of Environmental Protection during the Yerevan visit of RF Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov in February 2008, RBC reports.
