After setting fire to a Turkish state flag, several thousands of young Armenians marched with burning torches from Liberty Square toward Tsitsernakaberd, the Memorial to Genocide victims. The action initiators called on people, who couldn't join the procession, to light candles at the windowsills in their houses.
