"The primary purpose of the meeting is for the two leaders to become acquainted with each other and for each to gauge whether the other side is serious about continuing the negotiations on the basis of previous understandings," Ambassador Bryza told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. "There is no set agenda for the meeting. If the Presidents wish, they could even discuss the details of the Basic Principles. However, if they do not choose to go into such details, we hope this meeting will at least pave the way for a resumption of the talks on these principles," he said.
