Serzh Sargsyan extended condolences to Kyrgyz President over Chingiz Aytmatov's death

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev over the death of renowned author Chingiz Aytmatov, the RA leader's press office reported.



"The loss of the Kyrgyz people and culture is irreparable. Saying Kyrgyz culture many in the world imply the name of Chingiz Aytmatov, whose literary heritage belongs to present and future. Aytmatov's works are well known and appreciated in our country. Almost all his works were translated into Armenian," the President's message says.
