PACE monitoring committee co-rapporteurs arriving in Armenia June 16June 13, 2008 - 17:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - PACE monitoring committee co-rapporteurs John Prescott and Georges Colombier will arrive in Armenia on June 16, the RA NA press office reported. The co-rapporteurs are scheduled to meet with RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, National Assembly Speaker Tigran Torosian, Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan, Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan and National Security Council Chairman Artur Baghdassaryan. They will also meet with special representative of the CoE secretary General, Ms. Bojana Urumova, head of the Armenian delegation to PACE Davit Harutyunian, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, members of the working group on coordination of PACE resolution 1609 implementation, former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan and opposition representatives. On June 17 Mr Colombier will meet with extraparliamentary opposition forces, representatives of NGOs and families of those detained over March 1-2 disorders. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
