New postage stamp celebrates Armenian animated filmsDecember 28, 2018 - 18:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Children’s philately. Armenian cartoons” was cancelled and put into circulation by HayPost CJSC on Friday, December 28. With nominal value of AMD 100, the stamp was designed by Vahagn Mkrtchyan and printed in Cartor printing house in France with the print-run of 40 000 pcs. The piece depicts the poster of the Armenian animated film “Anahit” which was created by Sahakyants Animation Studio in 2014 on the base of a homonymous fairy tale by the Armenian writer Ghazaros Aghayan. The postage stamp was cancelled by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Armen Arzumanyan, co-founder of Sahakyants Animation Studio David Sahakyants, Acting Chief Executive Officer of HayPost CJSC Haik Avagyan, President of the Union of Philatelists Hayk Musayelyan.
