  Serge Smessov: Baku's bellicose statements hamper talks July 8, 2008 - 19:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan's bellicose statements can't help the peace process on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peaceful resolution, French Ambassador to Armenia Serge Smessov told a news conference in Yerevan today. "Baku's warlike statements prevent the sides from coming to compromise. It's the position of all OSCE MG co-chair countries. The mediators direct their energies at a peaceful resolution of the conflict," the Ambassador said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
