Armenia's government will pay for surgeries of cancer patients

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosyan told reporters on Wednesday, January 23 that the government will pay for the surgical treatment of malignant diseases.

According to him, oncological surgical patients will no longer have to pay when admitted to certain medical centers in the country.

Torosyan said the government will spend AMD 1.7 billion (more than $3.5 million) to cover all costs.
