Syrian army destroys rebel arms depot in Hama

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) managed to destroy a rebel arms depot in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate Tuesday, January 29, Al-Masdar News cited a military communique as saying.

According to the communique, the Syrian Arab Army’s missile units heavily targeted an arms depot that belonged to the Turkish-backed rebels of Jaysh Al-Izza near the key town of Al-Latamnah in the northern countryside of Hama.

In addition to striking the arms depot, the Syrian Arab Army’s artillery and missile units also pounded Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions near the towns of Hasraya and Kafr Zita.

The attack by the Syrian Arab Army comes just hours after Jaysh Al-Izza attempted to infiltrate their positions near the towns of Souran and Taybat Al-Imam.
