Japan won't accept workers from Turkey![]() February 1, 2019 - 16:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey summoned Japanese ambassador to Ankara over Japan's new visa system that would not accept workers from Turkey, Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Thursday. In November last year, Japanese parliament approved a draft bill that will regulate the country's immigration control by creating new visa system for foreign nationals. Under the new law, Turkey was among the countries whose workers would not be accepted by Japan. The spokesman Hami Aksoy said in a written statement that the move did not reflect the spirit of the strategic partnership between the two countries, describing it "disappointing." Japan's new visa system will come into effect in April. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
