U.S. "will cancel Patriot deal if Turkey buys Russia's S-400 system"

U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. will cancel their Patriot Missile deal if Turkey purchases the Russian-made S-400 air defense system, Cumhuriyet reported on Thursday, February 7 afternoon, according to Al-Masdar News.

Citing a U.S. official, the Turkish publication reported that not only will the Patriot Missile sale be cancelled, but this might put Turkey's acquisition of the U.S.-made F-35s in jeopardy as well.

“This will pave the way for U.S. sanctions,” the report added.
