Sargsyan, Kiriyenko discuss new power unit construction in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met September 9 with Rosatom Director General Sergei Kiriyenko to discuss the Armenian-Russian energy cooperation and implementation of joint programs, the RA leader's press office reported.



"The Armenian Nuclear Power plan is in an excellent condition and disposable for secure service," Mr Kiriyenko said.



The two also discussed the possibility of construction of a new power unit in Armenia.
