GERMANY INTENDS TO INCREASE ITS POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC ROLE IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany intends to increase its political and economic role in the South Caucasian region, as well as to activate its participation in the Karabakh conflict solution. Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Hans Wolf Bartels stated it at the meeting with Armenian parliament Vice-Speaker Gagik Aslanian. The ambassador reported that a high-rank representative of the German foreign ministry would arrive in Yerevan with that purpose. Bartels also invited the Vice-Speaker to be present at the elections of the German parliament to be held September 22 this year. As the ambassador noted, regardless of the results of the elections, the German policy in the South Caucasian region would not change.
