Hovik Abrahamyan elected RA NA Speaker

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former head of the presidential administration Hovik Abrahamyan was elected Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly today. 110 out of 115 MPs voted for the candidate from the RPA.



5 MPs voted in favor of Larisa Alarevdyan, Heritage party's nominee.



Tigran Torosyan sent in his resignation on September 19 and announced that he stops his membership of the RPA. His resignation was accepted on September 26, after a second confirmation.
