European Commission to help Armenia combat corruptionNovember 6, 2008 - 14:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently in Brussels, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met European Commission Vice-President Jacques Barrot, Responsible of Justice, Freedom and Security, to discuss the process of reform in the legal system, readmission issues and simplification of visa system, the RA leader's press office reports. President Sargsyan briefed on the republic's progress and said that public intolerance of corruption can help combat the evil. For his part, Mr. Barrot voiced willingness to assist Armenia in carrying out the essential reforms. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
