Tigran Torosian: Turkey won't renounce conditions it sets to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - It's obvious that Armenia has intensified its foreign policy recently, said former speaker of the Armenian parliament.

"The process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations is conditioned by the recent events in the South Caucasus. However, I don't see any progress yet," Tigran Torosian told a news conference today.

"I am concerned that various states use the Turkish-Armenian dialogue in their own interest," he said.

Ankara will never renounce the conditions it sets to Armenia, according to Mr. Torosian.

"True, the international community hails the dialogue between Armenia and Turkey and this support gladdens. But it can't be a goal for Armenia," he said.
