Armenian, Azeri FMs hold talks with OSCE MG in HelsinkiDecember 4, 2008 - 12:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian of Armenia and Elmar Mammadyarov of Azerbaijan met Wednesday in Helsinki with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov of Russia, Ambassador Matthew Bryza of the United States and Ambassador Bernard Fassier of France as well as with Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman in Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk to discuss the process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, RA MFA press office told PanARMENIAN.Net The diplomats highlighted the positive atmosphere created during the June 6 and November 2 presidential meetings and stressed the necessity to continue negotiations on the basis of Madrid principles by the instrumentality of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs for reconciliation of the sides and peaceful resolution of Karabakh problem. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
