  Drug traffic in Armenia minimalDecember 8, 2008 - 15:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is one of the few countries with minimal drug traffic participating in Channel operation. "Fortunately, Armenia is far away from the major drug routes.1 kg of drug was confiscated in the republic this year and 12 kg during the past two tears. Meanwhile, some 30 tons of drugs were confiscated during the Channel operation in all," Toksatyn Buzubayev told a news conference in Yerevan today. He also noted that the number of illegal migrants in Armenia totaled 160. "At that, the figure reached 75 thousand in Kazakhstan. 2000 illegal migrants have been already deported," Buzubayev said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
