PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY OF COUNCIL OF EUROPE MONITORING GROUP TO ARRIVE IN ARMENIA IN MID-AUGUSTJuly 30, 2002 - 18:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - August 19, the monitoring group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will arrive in Armenia. The visit's objective is to get familiar with the process of Armenia's fulfillment of the obligations to the CE undertaken at the joining the CE. As a result of the monitoring, it will be prepared a report that will be heard at the September PACE meeting. During the visit, the monitoring group members, PACE reporters on Armenia Irene Belogorsk from Slovakia and Yeji Yaskerni from Poland will meet with the high leadership of the state, the representatives of the political forces and non-governmental organizations.
