Armenia to facilitate cooperation between CSTO member statesJanuary 13, 2009 - 14:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Tuesday with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha to discuss issues related to regular CSTO summit, the RA leader's press office reported."Continued improvement of the organization will help combat new threats," the Armenian President said. "Armenia which holds the rotating presidency in the Organization will facilitate cooperation between the member states." The two also referred to CSTO major problems and the ways of their resolution. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
